Abstract

COVID-19 has affected building operation significantly around the world, on the bright-side, the COVID-effect has actually improved the quality and services of facility management in a sustainable way. Let’s take a look at how HKL has enhanced facility management quality, services, and sustainability from the COVID measures.

Biography

Andy is Director and Head of Technical Services & Sustainability of Hongkong Land. He joined Hongkong Land in 2010 and is responsible for Technical Services Management and Sustainability Management for the company. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and later on obtained a Master Degree in Environmental Management.

Andy started his career in the Engineering field focusing on Project Management and Engineering design covering building services engineering, mechanical and plant engineering, and risk management. After completion of a few major renovation projects in the property sector, Andy has continued his career in the field of Property Management focusing on technical services and sustainability.

He is a Chartered Engineer with more than 30-years experiences in project management, technical services, energy management, sustainability management, and green building management through his work in a number of key property companies.
